Go around the round-about, the circle is now complete, take the sith exit

A short time ago, on a TomTom near you…

At the risk of looking like a total Star Wars fanboy (again) I saw a new Star Wars merchandising tie-in and it got me wondering if there was anything left that you can play with, wear, eat or display that hasn’t been given the old Lucas Arts’ makeover.  No wonder then that the box office revenue from the six movies themselves accounts for only 30% of the total $22 billion Star Wars franchise revenue (and that was 3 years ago around the 30 year anniversary).

Condoms are probably the only item left that hasn’t been assimilated into the Star Wars franchise.  A few straplines torn jump to mind straight from the films themselves:

– Luke, at that speed do you think you’ll be able to pull out in time?

– Control, control! You must learn control!

– Size matters not. Judge me by my size, do you?

(That‘s why I don’t do creative…)
