It’s classic – four things that work for Autoglass

As Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith famously said – “I love it when a plan comes together”.  The plan does indeed appear to have come together as the latest TV spot we created for Autoglass reaches number one in Marketing’s Adwatch hit parade.

I reckon the success of our “MOT” spot is down to the fact it tick fours boxes:
1 – Illustrates a problem / solution
2 – Demonstrates the product clearly and simply
3 – Has a annoying catchy jingle
4 – The media weight has the courage of its convictions (i.e. you even see this if you don’t have a TV)

47% prompted awareness is high, very high – I think Isi (the technician in the spot) could even claim to be bigger than the Beatles.  Hopefully she’s not feeling like an X-factor-list celebrity as this may dissuade the next bread of technicians throwing their hats in the ring to appear in future spots… maybe it will attract them… maybe we should have public voting to determine who gets to appear – I could retire on the proceeds of the premium rate voting telephone numbers.
