The sexist rip-off ad you’d love your newspaper to be like

Better late than never (or is that better never than late)… but here is the Sun newspaper jumping on board the Old Spice band wagon juggernaut that I wrote about back in August.

Page 3 may be an outdated misogynistic excuse for comment on current affairs (I’m sure Trevor Baylis likes it), but the spot has two million views already and The Sun remains Britain’s most popular newspaper.  Given that thesun.co.uk website is one of the most popular UK websites, coming third behind The Daily Mail and Guardian websites, I wonder how long before it disappears behind a paywall like its sister sites for The News of the World, The Times and The Sunday Times.  Maybe never because no matter what the propaganda peddlers say, it’s not going too well for The Times.
