Reassuring stuff from Intel’s i5 processor

After Apple’s self-absorbed MacBook Pro “unibody” spot and Dell’s annoying and pointless “lollipop” ad, which made AdTurds’ worst ads of 2010 list, I thought technology ads were going to focus on form rather than function.

Luckily this new spot about Intel’s new i5 processor is engaging and rightly focuses on the technology, or more specifically what the technology can deliver, which makes a nice change.  And there shouldn’t be any Mac vs PC friction because of course Macs use intel processors (although Windows is the operating system shown in the ad).
