Heart-warming publicity stunt from Spainair

Sure it’s a calculated publicity stunt which rewards only the 190 passengers who flew from Barcelona late on Christmas Eve landing in Las Palmas on Christmas Day, but it was a nice gesture that promotes Spainair’s customer focus and, clearly being a one-off, is unlikely to set unrealistic expectations and have passengers wondering where their birthday presents are.  Still almost 300k views on the original Spanish version and a rapidly growing tally on the video above is pretty good going.

I can’t help wondering though… did those passengers who didn’t check any luggage miss out?
