Now this, I don’t like

Someone said that you can find any…er…peccadillo catered for on the internet. It seems as if advertising might be going the same way. After the Confused.com smut-bot campaign caused Alan Partridge-esque exclamations of “Shit! Did you see that?” to reverberate across the nation, Irn Bru have set out to move the conversation on with this:

Now each to their own and all that, but I thought this ad was horrible. Unlike the beautifully directed Confused.com spot, this one has a much heavier hand at the tiller; more of a The Wright Way than a Getting On. Benny Hill may be dead, but some of his comedic directional tropes live on.
