For a man who’s never been camping…

…or, indeed, spent a night in a tent (with the exception of a night in my back garden when I was 12), agreeing to participate in a charity event that involves sleeping rough might come as something of a shock. But that’s probably the point.

As a result, on Thursday 10th October, I will be joining other CEOs (!) bedding down in London’s Coram Fields, which is not one of the capital’s most salubrious open spaces. The event is organised by Andy Preston, a friend of mine who’s doing great things up in his native Middlesbrough and has already run a similar event up there.

I will update the blog shortly with information about how to support me, if you’re interested. Alternatively, if you want to take part, more sleepers are welcome. You’ll find the information here:

Newsflash: the event has been delayed until 2014. More info nearer the time…
